Laymen's League

The HG Laymen's League meets monthly to empower and encourage the men of Henderson Grove to live godly lives
and to be spiritual leaders in their homes. The group incorporates athletic activities, bible studies, and outreach
involvement to meet the needs of our church and communities.

Ellison's Rest Home - Monthly Visitations |
|
Every month Ellison Rest Home opens its door for our church to render service
to those who cannot get to church on Sunday. A full worship experience is provided every third Saturday of each month.

A special bond with Leggett Chapel Missionary Baptist Church began in 1999 when the Tar River flooded and the
Princeville community was in need. Henderson Grove reached out and contributed material and spiritual assistance to the
affected members of that church. Now we come together twice a year to celebrate the love of Jesus and to worship Him in
Spirit and in Truth.

Song Festival

Every year on the second Sunday in February some of the best local Gospel Music
artists assemble at Henderson Grove to lift up and exalt the name of Jesus. This service begins at 3:00 pm.

We celebrate Fall Festival every year on October 31. Instead of participating
in Halloween we celebrate God's blessings in our lives. Fall Festival consists of food and activities for the whole family.

Camp Meeting @ Umstead Park

Every year our church family and friends exchange the hustle, bustle and cares of this world for the peaceful serenity
found in Umstead State Park. We get away from the televisions, telephones, video games for a closer walk with God. You are
invited to join us for two nights of Bible Study, Preaching, singing, games, activities and fellowship away from the distractions
of the world. This experience may change your life. Activities are designed for the whole family.
